The ASIS Foundation’s Student Writing Competition
International Call for Papers
rewards students who write an academic report between 3,000 and 6,000 words on an issue relevant to the security and asset protection field. The competition is open to any undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a college or university during the 2009 academic year.

- Repairing security’s image
- Protecting information and intangible assets in the 21st century
- The challenge of securing cyberspace: man or machine?
- Realistic approaches to merging security and risk management to protect assets in today’s global environment
- Leveraging low-cost/low-tech solutions for contemporary security challenges
